Ready for a taste of Japan? Get ready to be delighted with the 40% ABV Sakura Moon Gin Japanese Gin (our June 2024 Gin Club) from Saragusta Spirits, a small batch distillery launched by James and Alison in December 2020 in rural Cambridgeshire.
This enchanting gin blends traditional ‘one-shot’ distillation with unconventional Japanese botanicals like Shiso Leaf, Cherry Blossoms, Yuzu, and Sushi Rice. The result is a warm, well-balanced citrus and herbal aroma, with fragrant spices and a delicate sweetness on the palate. Enjoy, but remember, “Sake shows true feelings” – so drink wisely 😊.
And finally let's quickly mention that bottle... Wow, I absolutely love the elegant design! The Sakura Moon Japanese Gin bottle features a double sided label at the back with intricate details of a beautiful sakura blossom motif that captures the essence of Japanese artistry, and with the sleek shape and clear glass to showcase the gin's purity.
